I believe in working alongside you, with compassion and respect, to help you use your strengths and find balance. Together, we can discuss goals for therapy and life, process through past hurts and trauma, and decrease anxious thought patterns and stress.

I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Whether you are a parent seeking support for your child, a family or couple looking to rebuild your connection, or an adult feeling stuck and overwhelmed, I am here to walk alongside you.

Before transitioning into therapy full-time, I spent years working as a classroom teacher, specializing in Literacy, Early Childhood Education, and Special Education. This background gives me an intimate understanding of school pressures and child development, allowing me to connect exceptionally well with younger clients and offer practical guidance and support to parents.

My approach is trauma-informed and culturally sensitive. To tailor our sessions to your unique needs and goals, I draw from a variety of evidence-based techniques, including:  Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR)  Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)  Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)  Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR)  Play Therapy  Narrative Therapy  Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT)  Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)  Solution Focused Therapy (SFT)

I hold a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and a Bachelors of Education from Trinity Western University. I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with the CCPA and a Registered Counselling Therapist (CT) with ACTA.

Together, we will build on your existing strengths, develop practical coping tools, and foster the lasting resilience you need to truly thrive and enjoy your life.

Hello, I’m Sarah.

I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and am a Registered Provisional Psychologist in Alberta. I work with both teens and adults navigating life’s challenges.

I believe therapy is most helpful when you feel comfortable being yourself. I strive to create a warm, welcoming, and non-judgmental space where you can slow down, feel understood, and make sense of what you’re experiencing.

I take a Person-Centred approach to therapy that is conversational and collaborative. Rather than telling you what you should do, I see my role as walking alongside you, offering curiosity, perspective, support, and practical tools to help you move toward the changes you want to make. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and can incorporate that into our work together if/when appropriate.

Therapy is personal, and finding someone you feel comfortable with can make all the difference. My hope is that our work together gives you a space to feel understood, reconnect with yourself, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

My favourite clients to work with: teen girls, young women, and new moms. I also enjoy trauma work using EMDR. I love working with anxiety, overwhelm/burnout, and navigating life transitions

Hello, I’m Saowanee.

Drumheller has a special place in my heart as it was the first place I practiced when I started as a young health practitioner. People in this town (my colleagues and clients alike) have been kind to me and helped me develop myself as a psychologist. For this reason, I have committed to always coming back, no matter where I travel, to serve the people in Drumheller.

My practice areas include anxiety, depression, excessive video gaming or social media use, bullying, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

I serve people from all life stages, from children to adolescents, teens, younger adults, older adults, and seniors. And I help people from all walks of life and diverse cultural backgrounds.

Some of the modalities I utilize in my practice are cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), and accelerated resolution therapy (ART).

I am a registered psychologist in the province of Alberta.

My current practice covers the areas of Drumheller, Stettler, and Calgary. I travel a lot and enjoy driving between these three places.
